1. 앱이 저장하는 정보
아래 정보는 기본적으로 이용자의 기기 내부 저장소에만 기록되며 외부로 전송되지 않습니다. Google 또는 Apple 계정 연동 백업을 사용하도록 선택한 경우에만 예외이며, 자세한 내용은 3절을 참고하십시오.

신체 정보는 혈중알코올농도(BAC)를 개인에 맞게 계산하기 위한 용도로만 쓰이며, 계산은 전부 기기 안에서 이루어집니다.
2. 개발자가 수집하지 않는 정보
아래는 Google 또는 Apple 계정 연동 백업을 사용하지 않는 경우(기본값)에 해당합니다. 연동을 선택하면 3절의 내용이 예외로 적용됩니다.
- 이름, 전화번호 등 이용자를 식별할 수 있는 정보 (Google 또는 Apple 계정을 연동한 경우 이메일 주소는 예외 — Apple은 "이메일 가리기" 릴레이 주소일 수 있습니다. 3절 참고)
- 정확한 위치 정보, 연락처, 사진, 통화·문자 기록
- 이용자가 입력한 신체 정보와 음주 기록 (기기 밖으로 나가지 않습니다. Google 또는 Apple 계정을 연동해 백업하도록 선택한 경우는 예외 — 3절 참고)
Safedrink에는 별도의 회원가입 기능이 없으며, Google 또는 Apple 계정 연동 백업을 선택하지 않는 한 개발자는 이용자 데이터를 보관하는 서버를 운영하지 않습니다.
3. Google·Apple 계정 연동 백업 (선택)
설정 → 백업에서 Google 계정 또는 (iOS 전용) Apple 계정으로 로그인하면, 기기에 저장된 데이터가 자동으로 서버에 백업됩니다. 로그인하지 않으면 이 절의 내용은 적용되지 않으며, 앱은 평소와 동일하게 기기에만 데이터를 저장합니다.

제공자별 분리: Google 계정으로 만든 백업과 Apple 계정으로 만든 백업은 서로 다른 백업으로 취급됩니다. 같은 사람이더라도 Google로 만든 백업을 Apple 로그인으로 확인하거나 복원할 수 없으며, 그 반대도 마찬가지입니다.
목적: 앱을 삭제하거나 기기를 바꾼 뒤에도 같은 Google 또는 Apple 계정으로 로그인하면 술 기록과 설정을 그대로 복원하기 위한 용도로만 사용합니다.
저장 방식: 계정당(제공자·계정 조합당) 최신 백업 1개만 보관하며, 데이터가 바뀔 때마다 이전 백업을 덮어씁니다(여러 시점의 이력을 보관하지 않습니다).
처리 위탁: 백업 데이터는 Cloudflare, Inc.가 제공하는 서버(Cloudflare Workers·D1)에 저장됩니다. Cloudflare는 당사의 위탁을 받아 데이터를 저장·전송하는 역할만 수행하며, 자체적인 목적으로 이용하지 않습니다. 전송 구간은 HTTPS로 암호화됩니다.
보관 기간: 연동을 해제하거나 삭제를 요청할 때까지 보관되며, 삭제 시 즉시 삭제됩니다.
삭제 방법:
- 앱 안에서: 설정 → 백업 → "백업 삭제 및 연동 해제"를 누르면 서버의 백업이 즉시 삭제되고 연동이 해제됩니다(기기에 저장된 기록은 그대로 유지됩니다). Google로 로그인한 경우와 Apple(iOS)로 로그인한 경우 모두 동일한 절차로 삭제됩니다.
- 앱을 이미 삭제한 경우: 웹 삭제 요청 페이지의 안내에 따라 요청할 수 있습니다.
로그인에 사용한 Google 또는 Apple 계정 자체는 Safedrink가 만들거나 삭제하지 않으며, 각 제공자(Google 또는 Apple)가 별도로 관리합니다.
4. 광고 (Google AdMob)
앱은 화면 하단에 Google AdMob 배너 광고를 표시합니다(Android 1.2.0, iOS 1.4.0부터). 광고를 불러오기 위해 Google Mobile Ads SDK가 다음 정보를 Google에 전송하며, Google은 이를 광고 게재·측정, 사기 방지, 서비스 개선 목적으로 처리합니다.

이 정보는 전송 중 암호화(TLS)됩니다. 이용자가 입력한 신체 정보와 음주 기록은 광고 SDK에 전달되지 않습니다. Google의 처리 방식은 Google 광고 기술 정책과 Google 개인정보처리방침을 참고하십시오.
Android에서는 기기의 설정 → Google → 광고에서 광고 ID를 재설정하거나 삭제할 수 있고, 맞춤 광고를 끌 수 있습니다. iOS에서는 설정 → 개인정보 보호 및 보안 → Apple 광고 등 기기의 광고 설정을 따릅니다. 앱 설정의 광고 제거를 구매하면 배너가 표시되지 않으며 광고 SDK가 광고를 요청하지 않습니다.
5. 인앱 결제 (Google Play 결제 · App Store 인앱 구입)
"광고 제거"는 Android에서는 Google Play 결제 시스템, iOS에서는 App Store 인앱 구입으로 1회 결제하는 상품입니다. 결제 정보(카드, 계좌 등)는 Google Play 또는 Apple이 처리하며 앱과 개발자는 결제 수단 정보를 받지 않습니다. 앱은 구매 여부만 스토어에서 확인해 기기에 저장합니다. 앱을 다시 설치하거나 기기를 바꾼 경우 설정의 "구매 복원"으로 되찾을 수 있습니다.
6. 앱이 사용하는 네트워크 통신
Safedrink가 인터넷에 연결하는 경우는 앱 업데이트 확인, 광고 요청, 스토어 결제(Google Play·App Store)
세 가지이며, Google 또는 Apple 계정을 연동한 경우에는 백업 업로드·복원이 추가됩니다.
업데이트 확인은 앱을 실행할 때 Expo(EAS Update) 서버(u.expo.dev)에
새 버전이 있는지 묻고, 있으면 앱 코드를 내려받습니다.
이 과정에서 기기의 운영체제 종류와 앱 버전 정보가 요청에 포함됩니다. 이용자가 입력한 신체 정보나 음주 기록은 이 통신에 일절 포함되지 않습니다. Expo의 개인정보 처리에 관한 내용은 expo.dev/privacy를 참고하십시오.
Google 또는 Apple 계정을 연동한 경우에는 3절에서 설명한 백업 데이터(신체 정보·음주 기록 포함)가 Cloudflare Workers 서버로 전송됩니다. 로그인하지 않으면 이 통신은 발생하지 않습니다.

8. 데이터 보관과 삭제
기록은 이용자가 삭제하기 전까지 기기에 보관됩니다. 앱 안에서 술자리 기록을 개별 삭제하거나, 설정에서 전체 기록을 삭제할 수 있습니다. 앱을 삭제하면 저장된 모든 데이터가 기기에서 함께 삭제됩니다.
Google 또는 Apple 계정 연동 백업을 사용한 경우, 서버에 저장된 백업은 설정 → 백업 → "백업 삭제 및 연동 해제"로 즉시 삭제할 수 있습니다. 앱을 이미 삭제했다면 웹 삭제 요청 페이지를 이용해 주십시오. 자세한 내용은 3절을 참고하십시오.
이와 별개로 Android 운영체제 자체의 자동 백업 기능이 켜져 있는 경우, 앱 데이터가 이용자 본인의 Google 계정 백업에 포함될 수 있습니다. 이는 Android 운영체제가 제공하는 기능이며, 해당 백업은 이용자 본인만 접근할 수 있고 개발자는 접근할 수 없습니다. 기기 설정에서 이 백업을 끄거나 백업 데이터를 삭제할 수 있습니다.
9. 제3자 제공
Google 또는 Apple 계정 연동 백업을 사용하지 않는 경우, 개발자는 이용자의 데이터를 보유하지 않으므로 제3자에게 제공하거나 판매하는 일이 없습니다. 백업을 사용하는 경우, 3절에서 설명한 데이터는 저장·전송 처리를 위해 Cloudflare, Inc.에 위탁되며, 그 외의 제3자에게는 제공하지 않습니다. 이와 별도로 4절의 광고 관련 정보는 광고 SDK가 Google(및 Google의 광고 파트너)에 직접 전송합니다.
10. 아동의 개인정보
Safedrink는 음주와 관련된 앱으로 성인 이용자를 대상으로 합니다. 아동으로부터 의도적으로 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다.
11. 면책
Safedrink가 제시하는 혈중알코올농도와 회복 예정 시각은 공개된 계산식 (Widmark 공식 및 Watson 총체수분량 공식)에 기반한 참고용 추정치입니다. 실제 수치는 체질, 음식 섭취, 건강 상태, 약물 등에 따라 크게 달라질 수 있습니다.
이 앱은 의료기기가 아니며, 음주운전 가능 여부를 판단하는 근거로 사용할 수 없습니다. 술을 마신 뒤에는 절대 운전하지 마십시오.

본 방침이 변경되는 경우 이 페이지에 수정된 내용과 최종 수정일을 게시합니다.

Safedrink Privacy Policy
1. Information stored by the app
The following is stored by default only in your device's local storage and is never transmitted, except when you turn on Google or Apple account backup — see section 3 for that exception.

Body measurements are used solely to personalize the blood alcohol concentration (BAC) estimate. All calculations run on the device.
2. Information the developer does not collect
The following applies when you have not turned on Google or Apple account backup (the default). If you turn it on, the exceptions in section 3 apply.
- Name, phone number, or any other identifying information (except the email address of a linked Google or Apple account — see section 3; for Apple this may be a "Hide My Email" relay address)
- Precise location, contacts, photos, call or message logs
- Your body measurements and drink records (they never leave the device, except when you choose to back them up via a linked Google or Apple account — see section 3)
There is no separate account system, and unless you turn on Google or Apple account backup, the developer runs no server that stores user data.
3. Google & Apple account backup (optional)
If you sign in with a Google account, or (iOS only) with Apple, in Settings → Backup, the data stored on your device is automatically backed up to a server. If you do not sign in, this section does not apply, and the app stores data on your device only, as usual.

Backups are separate per provider: a backup created while signed in with Google and a backup created while signed in with Apple are treated as entirely separate backups. Even for the same person, a Google-made backup cannot be viewed or restored by signing in with Apple, and vice versa.
Purpose: solely to restore your drink history and settings if you uninstall the app or switch devices and sign in again with the same Google or Apple account.
Storage approach: only the latest backup per account (per provider) is kept; each change overwrites the previous backup (no history of past versions is retained).
Processor: backup data is stored on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Workers and D1). Cloudflare acts solely as our processor, storing and transmitting the data on our behalf, and does not use it for its own purposes. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Retention: kept until you unlink or request deletion, at which point it is deleted immediately.
How to delete it:
- In the app: go to Settings → Backup → "Delete backup and unlink" to delete the server-side backup immediately and unlink your account (your on-device records are kept). This works the same way whether you signed in with Google or with Apple (iOS).
- If you have already uninstalled the app: use the web deletion request page and follow the instructions there.
Safedrink does not create or delete the Google or Apple account you sign in with; it remains managed by that provider (Google or Apple).
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows a Google AdMob banner at the bottom of the screen (Android 1.2.0+, iOS 1.4.0+). To serve ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK sends the following to Google, which processes it for ad delivery and measurement, fraud prevention, and service improvement.

This data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Your body measurements and drink records are never passed to the ads SDK. See How Google uses information from ads and the Google Privacy Policy.
On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads under Settings → Google → Ads. On iOS, your device's ad settings (such as Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising) apply. Purchasing Remove Ads in the app's settings hides the banner and stops ad requests.
5. In-app purchase (Google Play Billing · App Store)
"Remove Ads" is a one-time purchase handled by Google Play's billing system on Android and by App Store in-app purchase on iOS. Payment details are processed by Google Play or Apple; the app and the developer never receive them. The app only checks with the store whether the purchase exists and stores that status on the device. After reinstalling or switching devices, use "Restore Purchases" in Settings.
6. Network usage
Safedrink connects to the internet for three reasons: checking for app updates,
requesting ads, and store billing (Google Play / App Store) — plus backup upload/restore if you
have linked a Google or Apple account. On launch it asks the Expo (EAS Update)
server (u.expo.dev) whether a newer version of the app code exists and downloads it if so.
That request includes your device's operating system and app version. It contains none of your body measurements or drink records. See expo.dev/privacy for Expo's own privacy practices.
If you have linked a Google or Apple account, the backup data described in section 3 (including body measurements and drink records) is sent to our Cloudflare Workers server. If you have not signed in, this communication never happens.
7. Permissions

8. Retention and deletion
Records remain on your device until you delete them. You can delete individual sessions in the app, or clear all records from Settings. Uninstalling the app removes all stored data from your device.
If you have turned on Google or Apple account backup, you can delete the server-side backup immediately from Settings → Backup → "Delete backup and unlink". If you have already uninstalled the app, use the web deletion request page. See section 3 for details.
Separately, if Android's own automatic backup feature is enabled on your device, app data may be included in your own Google account backup. That backup is provided by the Android operating system, is accessible only to you, and is not accessible to the developer. You can disable that backup or delete its data in your device settings.
9. Sharing with third parties
If you have not turned on Google or Apple account backup, the developer holds none of your data, so the developer shares or sells nothing. If you use backup, the data described in section 3 is entrusted to Cloudflare, Inc. to store and transmit it, and is not shared with any other third party. Separately, the advertising data described in section 4 is sent by the ads SDK directly to Google (and Google's advertising partners).
10. Children's privacy
Safedrink concerns alcohol consumption and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Disclaimer
The blood alcohol concentration and sober-by time shown in Safedrink are reference estimates based on published formulas (the Widmark equation and the Watson total body water equation). Actual values vary substantially with individual physiology, food intake, health conditions, and medication.
This app is not a medical device and must not be used to decide whether it is safe to drive. Never drive after drinking.
